We spent our anniversary weekend relaxing at the Vinas de Cafayate wine resort and hotel, a lovely bit of luxury for a few days to celebrate. After a day sitting by the pool (although not going in as it was bloody freezing!) we went for a slap-up lunch at Bodega Piattelli then enjoyed tasting some excellent wines at the boutique vineyard, Domingo Molina. It was the perfect place for some R&R and the scenic drive through canyons and desert towns, from Salta, into the wine region was beautiful.
