Uvita

It was late afternoon when we arrived at Popeye’s place so we dropped off our bags and cycled down to the beach for sun set. The beach is part of Marino Ballena National Park which has preserved the tropical beauty of the beach as no huts, restaurants or buildings have been built there. There is a dense forest of palm trees and wildlife which gives way to a dark sandy beach and a double cove bay (from above looks like a whales’ tail). Although we didn’t see any whales, the sunset here was so beautiful and definitely worth a stop off en route to Corcovado.
