Mount Gambier
We arrived late at night and in the morning visited the Blue Lake a recommendation from Carrie’s dad from all his years ago when we travelled here. We also visited the Umpherston sinkhole another geological formation in the area. After a few hours drive we got onto the famous Great Ocean road, stopping at a series of costal features including a sea arch and the Twelve Apostles, a series of rock pillars out at sea however only seven stand today. It was a beautiful drive and reminiscent of the route 1 drive in California, however the attractions have so many tourists that it feels rather crowed especially in comparison to New Zealand.
