Picton, Rarangi and Kaikoura

After a four-hour ferry crossing from Wellington to Picton we drove along the coast to the town of Rarangi at a DOC camp next to the sea and Monkey Bay. The next morning, we went for a walk down to Monkey Bay and along to Kaikoura peninsula where we cooked lunch and went for a wet and windy walk along the cliff and back along the beach. There were a flock of seals were relaxing and sleeping on the rocks.
